Guidelines

For ICN Member agency staff members and non-governmental advisers on the use of ICN Competition Advocacy Toolkit Posting Section

Purpose

The ICN Competition Advocacy Toolkit Posting Section is intended to enable ICN member agencies and non-governmental advisers (NGAs) to post their notes, articles, pronouncements, statements, and messages on competition advocacy matters on the ICN web-site for wider discussion by the ICN membership, NGAs, competition professionals, scholars, and the general public. Persons intending to make postings should avoid placement of political declarations and materials not related to competition advocacy.

Eligibility

Staff of ICN member agencies and NGAs designated by ICN member agencies as non-governmental advisers to the ICN are eligible to make their postings on the ICN Competition Advocacy Toolkit Posting Section. Use of the Posting Section by agency staff members and NGAs should not contradict the legal foundations, rules, and procedures adopted in their respective jurisdictions.

Purpose

ICN member agencies should send the relevant document to be posted to the ICN Secretariat by e-mail ([email protected]).

NGAs should send the relevant document to be posted to their contact at the ICN member agency in their jurisdiction. The ICN member agency will forward appropriate documents to the ICN Secretariat for posting on the ICN website.

Format of postings

Postings should ideally take the form of a short description of the content, and a link to the content. This may be either a link to the relevant external website (such as the agency’s website), or the document may be sent to the ICN Secretariat for uploading to the ICN website. For documents in a language other than English, please submit a short description in English, and a link to the document in the original language.
