As of the Bonn conference, ICN membership constituted over 90 competition authorities from over 80 jurisdictions around the world. With member agencies from Albania to Zambia, by any measure, the ICN represents the greatest proportion of competition authorities of any international organization. Ensuring that eligible authorities' application for membership in the ICN are promptly actioned is the responsibility of the Membership Working Group, led by the Korea Fair Trade Commission.

It is the mandate of the Membership Working Group to encourage the world's competition authorities, both national and multinational, to join the Network. The group focuses its activities on fostering a greater understanding of the ICN, its mission and objectives.
